Impossible Seafood Pie

6–8 servings (estimated)

Illustrated interpretation of Impossible Seafood Pie
Illustrated interpretation from the family cookbook.

Let’s make it

  1. Heat oven to 400°F. Grease a 9 × 9 × 2-inch baking dish. Pat seafood dry; chop large pieces and check crab for shell fragments.
  2. Spread seafood and green onions in the dish. Distribute cheddar and cream cheese evenly over them.
  3. Beat milk, baking mix, eggs, salt and nutmeg until blended. Pour over the filling.
  4. Bake 35–45 minutes, until golden, set in the center and at least 160°F in the middle. A knife inserted near the center should come out clean. Rest 5 minutes before cutting.
